Department of Science and Technology successfully conducted value aided course on “Web Technology-I”
during 8th May to 20th May 2023 for students of BCA -II.The objective of this Value-Aided Course was to upgrade technical knowledge of students which can help them to grab best career opportunities. Prof. Kalyani Satone, faculties of Department of Science & Technology conducted sessions for 8th May to 20th May 2023. These two week workshop got best feedback from students and found fruitful for them.
This Activity was organized for the UG Students of School of Allied sciences. This session has built new enthusiasm and renewed spirit among the students and shall motivate them for a brighter tomorrow. Total 25 students form UG participated in this workshop. It was fruitful for the advanced development of their career in future.
Prakuriti EVENT
Faculty of Science & Technology (SAS)/ Faculty of Commerce & Management. /Faculty of Liberal Arts Humanities And Social Sciences organized “Prakuriti Event” on the theme “Save birds, save the environment to save ourselves” on 21st May 2023.
Objectives of the Activity:
The objective behind organizing “Prakriti Event”, is to make aware about the nature and surroundings . The purpose of the day is to draw attention towards birds in places without feeded, so just feeding birds makes the world of difference for the future of wild birds.
The Primary thought behind this program is to make everyone awake as our earth provides resources that are essential to our well-being and quality of life. These nature gives us clean air, water as well as a wide range of plants and animals that contribute to the richness and diversity of our planet.
Total 60 students and 19 staff participated in this activity.
Outcome Analysis:
- The best advantage of provides an intimate connection between people and their natural environment .
- It provides students with an opportunity to learn by doing so, in turn strengthening the learning and get something challenging.
- The outcome of this celebration is to make the society aware and know the value and respect the Nature And Birds.
- Feeding birds can be a fascinating educational activity for all ages. By changing feeder styles and food types you can learn more about the birds that visit, and just observing the birds will help you learn about behaviors, identifications, personalities and other aspects of your local area and how birds change season by season.
INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
FOR PREVENTION AND REDRESSAL OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WOMEN AT WORKPLACESchool of Allied Sciences, organized awareness program under ICC cell as an Orientation on 30 may 2023 for Teaching & Non-teaching staff about the working of Internal Complaint Committee at DMIHER. The informative speaker was Prof. Supriya Narad, Member of ICC Cell, HoD, Faculty of Science & Technology, School of Allied Sciences, DMIHER. She has oriented about ICC Working and the names of Convener, Co-convener and Members of ICC Cell were introduced. Reporting to ICC Cell from DMIHER web portal was also oriented. It create awareness regarding sexual harassment of women at workplace and to orient Teaching and Non-teaching staff about prevention, prohibition and redressal of same. 15 teaching and 5 non teaching staff benefited through this program.

Seminar on “Career in Java”
Faculty of Sciences & Technology of School of Allied sciences was organized seminar on “Career in Java” for the UG and PG Students . This seminar has built new enthusiasm and renewed spirit among the students and shall motivate them for a brighter tomorrow. It was fruitful for the advanced development of their career in Java Programming in future.
The objective behind to organizing seminar on “Career in Java” is to guide the students how to build their career in Java.What are different career opportunities in Java. How to start the career in java as a tester or developer.Which technology you have choose for tester and for developer.What is Spring boot and Selenium technology in java.Which You Tube channel is useful for students to start career in Java. How to introduce yourself in personal interview. How to avoid destruction while using mobile or laptop. This seminar got best feedback from students and found fruitful for them. Total 51 students participated in this seminar for UG and PG.
Outcome Analysis:
- The best advantage of this seminar is students get clear idea about importance of Java programming in IT industry.
- How to make career in Java as a tester or Developer and what to do for that.
- It provides students with an opportunity to know what are the opportunity in IT industry and what will be the salary for freshers.
- Students get clear idea about how to face or introduce in technical interview.
- Students get guideline how to avoid detraction and use of social media in positive way.
Industrial Visit to “ Infocepts Pvt. Ltd. Mihan, Nagpur
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized “Industrial Visit” to “Infocepts Pvt. Ltd. Mihan, Nagpur ” for B.C.A-I Semester II students. The purpose of Industry visit is to give opportunity to interact with Industry Experts: Industrial visits provide students with a chance to meet industry leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and corporate who share their wisdom, learning, and experiences. Total 40 students along with 4 faculties participated in this visit.
Objectives of the Activity:
To know the culture and Environment of IT Industry. Interact and learn from experts in the industry. How the IT industry work. Opens new venues for learning by seeing.What are the different domain on which they work. Improves their job prospects. How employee work and how they fell in industry. What things to prepare to enter in IT Industry. How programming skill is important and which programming language is most in demand like python, Java, SQL etc. Which technology is you have to learn like Artificial Intelligence.
Outcome Analysis:
Growth in learning soft skills. The interactions with the experts, technicians, and industry associates, groom the students in developing interpersonal skills, lift their personalities, and craft their professional demeanour. Industrial trips help students to enhance their interpersonal, communication skills, and teamwork abilities. Learning outcomes are measurable statements that articulate at the beginning what students should know, be able to do, or value as a result of taking a course or completing a program.
Webinar on Top Trends in Industry
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized “Webinar on Top Trends in Industry” on dated 17th June 2023. Mr. Ajay Ulhe, SQA Director at PTC Pvt. Ltd, Pune, Maharashtra guided students. Total 50 students participated form UG and PG.
Objectives of the Activity
To get knowledge regarding current Top Trends in Industry.
To understand the applications of IOT with Raspberry Pi.
Mother’s day celebration 22 June
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized “Poster Making Competitions” on the occasion of "Shalinitai Meghe Birthday" on dated 22nd June 2023. The theme is “Mother’s assistance in every phase of life”.
The objectives of a poster competition on the occasion of Mother's Day (Birthday of Shalinitai Meghe.) is to celebrate and honour mothers and also acknowledge their love, sacrifices, and contributions to families and society. The competition provides an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for all that mothers do.
Poster competitions promote creativity and self-expression among participants. By designing and creating posters, participants can explore different artistic techniques and express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions related to their mothers or motherhood in general.The judgement for the Competition had evaluated by Dr.Raju Ganesh Sunder sir. And Dr. Pankajkumar Anawde Sir It would be enhanced the thought process among the students.
Ms .Shraddha Mahadhure(BCA-II) and Arya Kapse (BCA-II), Amisha Mishra (MBAII ) grabbed the Third , second and First position in the Mother’s Day Poster making competition.
Total 74 students and 19 staff participated in this event.

ORIENTATION OF STUDENT’S GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized “ORIENTATION OF STUDENT’S GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL” on dated 07th July 2023. Total 20 students and 10 academician participated in this program. Prof Reena Satpute and Dr. Pankajkumar Anawade conducted this program.Objective of the program:
To understand STUDENT’S GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL mechanism in our university.
To understand importance of Grievance cell.
Students understood the details about working of its functioning and its redressal
mechanism.
How to Write Research Paper
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized seminar on “How to Write Research Paper” for PG students of SAS. The objective of seminar was to upgrade technical knowledge of students which can help them to write Research paper. Dr. Chitra Dhawale, Dean, Academics from department of Science & Technology conducted seminar on 20th July 2023. Total 27 students and 7 teaching staff get benefited form this seminar. This seminar got best feedback from students and found beneficial for them.
This session has built new enthusiasm and renewed spirit among the students and shall motivate them for a brighter tomorrow. It was abundant for the progressive growth of their career in future.
Smart Board Training
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences organized “Smart Board Training” The training was focus on integrating smart boards seamlessly into the existing curriculum across various subjects. Participants will explore ways to use the technology to enhance learning outcomes.The objectives of smart board training are to empower educators with the skills and knowledge needed to make the best use of this technology, enhancing the teaching and learning experience in the classroom. Prof Kalyani Satone, Faculty from School of Allied Science conducted session on 21st July 2023. This session guided on how to monitor their progress in incorporating smart boards into their teaching methods.
The training will enable faculties to tailor smart board lessons to suit their specific teaching styles and adapt the content to their students' needs and learning abilities.
Total 20 faculties take benefited of this training.
NPTEL Awareness E-Workshop 2023
Faculty of Science & Technology , School of Allied Sciences has successfully conducted “NPTEL Awareness E-Workshop 2023”. This Activity was organized for the PG Students of School of Allied sciences. This session has built new enthusiasm and renewed spirit among the students and shall motivate them for a brighter tomorrow. It was abundant for the progressive growth of their career in future.
Objectives of the Activity
DMIHER, Sawangi, Wardha has successfully conducted awareness program on NPTEL Awareness E-Workshop 2023 at 10.00am on dated 25th July 2023.
The objective of awareness program is to create awareness about the NPTEL platform and its offerings, including online courses and certification programs in various disciplines. It will definitely be emphasizing the benefits of online learning and how NPTEL courses can enhance knowledge and skills among students, faculty, and professionals.
Dr. Chitra Dhawale, Dean, Academics from department of Science & Technology discussed the Enrolment process to students and faculties. She has also conversed NPTEL's future initiatives, including upcoming courses, partnerships, and improvements to the platform. Total 52 students form UG & PG and 10 teaching staff participated in this program.
Patent Fest Orientation Session
School of Allied Sciences has successfully conducted “Patent fest Orientation Program”. This Activity was organized for the faculties/PG/UG/Intern students of School of Allied sciences. The seminar will familiar to create, and build an innovative idea in minds and also inspire of findings the new things, new thoughts and give the shape to the world in an advanced way.
objectives of the Activity:
A patent fest is an event designed to promote innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. It aims to encourage students to develop and showcase their novel ideas, inventions, and projects while learning about intellectual property rights and the patenting process.
By encouraging them to come up with new and unique ideas, the event creates a platform for students to think creatively and develop practical solutions to real-world problems.
It helps them understand the importance of protecting their inventions and how patents can be valuable assets in the business world.
A patent fest can inspire students to become entrepreneurs by showcasing the potential of their inventions and ideas. Mr Vinay Chawla (Founder, a Motivational Speaker ETS) conducted session on 26th July 2023. Total 55 students form UG , PG and 25 faculties form SAS participated.
GET SET GO PROGRAME

Department of Science and Technology successfully conducted GET SET GO PROGRAME from 9TH March to 11th March 2023. This Activity was organized for the UG and PG Students of School of Allied sciences. This session build new enthusiasm and renewed spirit among the students and shall motivate them for a brighter tomorrow. Objective of this activity was :- Create an atmosphere for fresher that minimizes anxiety, promotes positive attitudes, and stimulates an excitement for learning.
- The world is the global village. The program focus to make fresher to learn the significance of connecting with faculty, fellow students across the globe.
- Academic development, career growth and personal or social development are the key goals of this program.
- To introduce students to college life, career opportunities, future of work, prospective industry, which will support their educational and personal goals.

Activity Report on “NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY”
28th February 2023Department of Science and Technology celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2023. Quiz Competition and Poster making activity were conducted on this day.
- The objective behind organization of poster making competition is to bring out the creative expression of students and to gauge their knowledge and awareness of various trends in Science and technology.
- The aim of the Poster Making Competition is not just to judge the students based on their creative aspects but also to trigger thought process among the students towards recent trends in the field of Science and technology.
- Academic development, career growth and personal or social development are the key goals of these competitions.
The outcome of this activity are:
- The best advantage of poster making is that it facilitates team work and understanding along with facilitating creative thinking and extensive research and reading.
- It provides students with an opportunity to learn by doing, in turn strengthening the learning
- The outcome of this quiz is to evaluate the knowledge of the participants within academics as well as beyond academics and to make them familiar with the prospects of quizzes and to make the student aware with the intention behind celebrating such kind of days.
- With practicing quizzes, students can do critical thinking, and get into a habit of innovative learning.
International Women Day
Department of Science and Technology pre celebrated International Women Day on 4th March 2023. Theme for the day was "DigitALL : Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality". Students of department demonstrated role of various renowned ladies with act.Dr shweta Pisulkar, as a Guest of Honour for the Women day program had been invited.
The objective behind organizing “International Women’s Day”, is to make aware about the famous Personality and to bring out the creative expression of students and to gauge their knowledge and awareness of various trends.
The aim is to bring the role of famous personality and to try to inculcate the respect and features of those women’s like Savitribai Fhule, Anandibai Joshi, Ahilyabai Holkar, First IAS officer etc.
The judgement for the Competition had evaluated by Dr. Chitra Dhawale. It would be enhanced the thought process among the students.
Dr Shweta Pisulkar, Dr Chitra Dhawale and Dr Raju Sunder had shared their views on DigitAll :Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality.

17th -18th April 2023Department of Science and Technology successfully conducted workshop on “FULL STACK DEVELOPMENT – I “ on 17-18th April 2023 for students of BCA, B.Sc-IT, B.Sc AI-DS and MCA .
The objective of this workshop was to upgrade technical knowledge of students which can help them to grab best career opportunities. Prof.Supriya Narad, Prof. Kalyani Satone , faculties of department of science & Technology conducted sessions for 17th April and Mr.Vijay Kale, Associate Senior Software Engineer at TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America) conducted sessions on 18th April 2023.
